Focus of practice

I am a Consultant Clinical Psychologist who works children, young people and their families. I have been interested in working with Personal Construct Psychology since I was introduced to the theory in 2020 and been hooked ever since. I am interested in applying theory to understanding how children/young people self construe, and the impact on self following trauma. I have published and presented my work at various PCP conferences, and am a visiting lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire and more recently lectured on the new Masters programme in PCP at the University of Padua, Italy. I am also interested in how PCP can inform supervision, leadership, team functioning and wellbeing.

In my personal life, I enjoy music and art. I have a daughter who enjoys gymnastics which has given me a new avenue to explore how children’s voices are heard in sport and how coaching can be enhanced via a Trauma Informed and PCP approach.
